MG (ret) Patricia Frost was the featured keynote speaker at the National Infantry Museum’s Cyber Symposium in Columbus, Georgia on 26 January 2019.  The theme was “Cyber Threats-Managing Risks in a New Era.”

Her keynote discussed the present and future cyber environments and the need for Human Firewalls, and how to best integrate cybersecurity into our operational and information architectures.  She also reinforced the criticality for establishing  a  framework for setting security objectives and aligning strategic risk management with business needs; and creating resiliency across organizations.

There was a subsequent panel discussion which focused on methods, metrics and the value of investing in the “Human Firewall and the increased need for cyber education for every employee and citizen.

The panel included leaders from academia, military and industry:
