MG (ret) Patricia Frost participated in the S.E. Region Cyber Security & Technology Symposium on 11 October 2018 in Chapel Hill, North Carolina.

She provided the opening remarks and served as moderator for the panel “Cyber and IoT Definition, Standards, Trends and Information Technology to IoT Nexus.”  The panel included NIST, NSA, Army Network Cross Functional Team, Industry & Health Care executives who discussed the Internet of Things (IoT) from the customers and regulators perspective including: privacy, regulatory, connectivity, and security standards. They also discussed striking the right balance of security and utility.

Panelists included:

  • MG (ret.) Patricia Frost, United States Army Retired, Director of Cyber for Partners in Performance America (PIP-AM) and President and CEO of Patricia Frost & Associates, LLC.
  • Ms. Katerina Megas, Program Manager for the Cybersecurity for the Internet of Things (IoT) at the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST).
